Service Description

The TOP UP qualification is comprised of four of the units taken from the new Close Protection Qualification which was introduced in April 2022, they are: Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry Application of Physical Intervention Skills for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry All units are mandatory. How is the Top Up qualification assessed? The Top Up qualification includes a combination of knowledge and practical assessments as well as multi choice exams for each of the 4 modules. Students are also required to update their first aid qualification prior to taking the Top Up training. ETL are able to provide a First Aid & Top Up package, prior to the start date. Duration – 3 days
