Service Description

Our 22 day Close Protection Course includes FAW/FREC 3. As of 01 April 2022, the SIA made mandatory changes to the course structure and learning outcomes leading to an extension of guided learning hours. The aim of these changes is to provide Close Protection Operatives with additional revenue stream potential such as working as a Door Supervisor. The additional learning outcomes also provide the Close Protection Officer with a fuller understanding of terror and threat awareness and New Counter Terrorism Policing training on Action Counters Terrorism (ACT). Physical Intervention training is also a new addition to the course syllabus. To apply for your SIA Close Protection License you must also hold an approved Level 3 First Aid Qualification. You must have this qualification prior to attending the course; we can provide this qualification for you. Our first aid instructors have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the medical field and deliver the training whilst adding their own experiences of operating within a Close Protection environment.
